• Kobie Dee is a 26-year-old Gomeroi artist from Maroubra in South Sydney, Bidjigal Land. With an innate gift for storytelling and connecting with young people, Kobie Dee is one of the exciting new voices in Australian hip hop.

    As an artist, Kobie is deeply engaged in his community through performance and community work, and his passion for his culture and people is inspiring new generations.

    In 2021, Kobie released his AIR Awards-nominated debut EP, ‘Gratitude Over Pity’. Signed to Briggs' Bad Apples Music label, Kobie was nominated for Artist of the Year at the 2023 National Indigenous Music Awards and took out triple j's 2022 Done Good Award and FBi SMAC Radio's Best Live Act for 2022.

    Alongside serving as a Youth Ambassador for Weave Youth & Community Services, and being named “the voice of a generation” by GQ Australia, Kobie has curated a massive following online, including more than 100k followers on all social platforms, and garnered more than 29M global streams for his music.

    In the last few months Kobie has wrapped up a number of national live appearances, including performances at VIVID LIVE, LISTEN OUT, and BIGSOUND 2023, with a promotional trip to New Zealand alongside Stan Walker also planned to debut ‘Father’s Eyes’, Kobie’s new powerful track featuring Stan on vocals.
